Note that the physical science certification is essentially physics + chemistry, with a major (30 credits) in one of these areas and a minor (15 credits) in the other. Some programs that offer stand-alone physics or chemistry certification may be able to provide certification in physical science if a student takes the appropriate combination of physics and chemistry coursework.
